How can we help?
Overview of Our Support for GPs
CoraVets offers dedicated support for veterinary colleagues treating dogs and cats, providing expert guidance for complex, urgent, or unclear cases. Our goal is to strengthen the GP–specialist partnership by offering clear communication, fast interpretation of diagnostic tests and imaging, and practical treatment advice. We assist vets in navigating challenging orthopaedic, neurologic, oncologic, imaging, and soft tissue cases —ensuring that pets receive the most appropriate and effective care from the start.
We endeavour to deliver this colaboration through structured, responsive case review and discussion. This includes reviewing medical histories, advising on imaging modality selection (x-ray vs CT vs. MRI vs. ultrasound), and offering second opinions on challenging diagnoses. Our specialists provide recommendations for both surgical and non-surgical management, pre-referral stabilisation, medication planning, and post-operative care. We’re also available for follow-up guidance, and long-term management strategies for chronic or recurring conditions. Every recommendation is clear, deliverable, and designed to support both the vet, the pet, and the pet owner.
Collaborative Communication & Workflow
Our patients are your patients.
CoraVets maintains open communication with veterinary colleages at every stage of the patient journey. Once a pet is referred, we provide timely updates on diagnostics, procedures, imaging and laboratory results, as well as treatment progress. Detailed discharge notes, follow-up plans, and rehabilitation recommendations are shared to help you to continue our collective care confidently.
Our collaborative workflow, overseen by our client care team, ensures seamless transitions between general practice and specialist teams, improving outcomes and giving pet owners reassurance that their valued pet is supported by a unified veterinary network
