CoraVets is Dublin, and Ireland’s, newest specialist veterinary referral centre. Conceived of a long-held belief by owner Dr. Stephen Martin, that the animals of Ireland, and their families, deserve a new option in specialist care, that is conscientious, compassionate, and clinically excellent.
Co-founded with fellow vet Charles Cosgrave, CoraVets combines clinical independence with aligned veterinary and client experience expertise to create a new model for specialist veterinary care in Ireland: Vet-owned, specialist-driven, ethically grounded, and built around excellence, compassion, and a supportive professional culture. From first contact through treatment, discharge, and follow-up, our focus is on clear communication, seamless collaboration, and an elevated client and patient experience, delivering personalised and compassionate care, at both ends of the leash.
CoraVets delivers advanced surgical and diagnostic services with transparency, specialist leadership, and a commitment to long-term partnership with internal colleagues, referring veterinary teams, and pet-owning families.
Stephen brings many years of Irish and international experience in advanced specialist surgical procedures and patient management. He leads with a patient-first philosophy, and has founded CoraVets on this principle. Stephen combines advanced surgical specialisation with an empathetic approach, optimising the referral experience for clients, and clinical outcomes for patients.
