Stephen maintains an active interest in clinical teaching and research, complementing his diverse clinical caseload. He particularly enjoys delivering workshops and practical training to junior and general practitioner veterinarians and specialists-in-training.

Publications

Stephen has authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific papers. In addition, he has co-authored textbook chapters in the areas of emergency surgery, and management of post-operative surgical complications.

Conference Attendance and Presentation

With regular attendance at international conferences to maintain updated skills and to ensure application of the most up-to-date procedures, Stephen has also had the opportunity to deliver presentations at the ECVS, ACVS, and other international conferences. In addition to academic conference attendance and presentation, he maintains an active role in ongoing education delivery for vets at all career-stages internationally.

Workshops & Specialist Training

Stephen collaborates and acts as a consultant to a number of pharmaceutical and medical device companies, delivering teleconsultancy services and product trialling, as well as hands-on and remote education to clinicians in multiple jurisdictions.

In addition to his clinical work, Stephen continues to contribute to ongoing research and academic collaboration, applying and contributing real-world experience to various projects.
